     The number of flights at the “Navoi” international airport has increased for the last six month and reached to 433 against 133 of similar period in previous year.

Freight volume, run via cargo terminal was enhanced accordingly from 15 to 3.337 ton. Airport profits has been raised ten-told and up to 5 million 810 thousand United States Dollars (USD).

     Airport capacity will be enlarged after accomplishing construction of large terminal, new aircrafts stop and supplementary warehouse for combustive-lubricating materials. Attendants’ educational qualification is being improved parallel with technical infrastructure modernization. In particular English teaching and “Boeing” aircrafts service courses have organized.

     The optimization of freights refinement procedure aimed to increase immediacy of very process to be developed now. Latest information technologies introducing is projected. As expected, after implementing Uzbek-Korean joint plans the logistic center of international airport will meet to world standards.

     At present time works on modernization project of Navoi international airport estimated at 63,1 million USD are being realized.
