     Germany’s EvoBusGmbH and Egypt’s Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV) are considering to establish production of buses in Uzbekistan.

     The issue on launch of the bus production in Uzbekistan was considered at the meting of the management of the Uzbek Agency for Road and River Transport with the representatives of EvoBusGmbH and Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles.

     Head of the delegation, manager on Mercedes Benz bus sales in Southern Eastern Europe and Central Asia Eduard Petrovski-Walschtain said the main of the mission is to study efficiency of organization of bus production in Uzbekistan.

     During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to capacity of the future enterprise in Uzbekistan. It was noted that at least 700-800 buses required annually to update bus fleets on international and city routes.

     The guests presented information about the activity of MCV and technical characteristics of MS-400, MS 500 and MS 600 bus models and underlined that the company pays attention to production of that model, which is demanded the most.

     On the results, the sides underlined that cooperation on establishment of bus production in Uzbekistan will be mutually beneficially. The guests expressed their readiness to cooperation in realization of the project.
